I made this image of some distorted wood using Becca's "Weird" filter. It was the final step on a texture I was working on in other programs. I sort of stumbled onto it and thought it was pretty cool. ![]() at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

The top one is the background which is a tex for a new set I am prepping. The second one is a tex I made from some filter I do not remember that I did a bitmap trace on in Inkscape. Then applied layer styles on it in PS. to get the third image. Then ran it through the "Weird" filter for the hell of it, hehe. The link is to the Sourceforge Inkscape download, the Inkscape site wasnt coming up for some reason. at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

#4 looks like a leather pattern mounted on wood..... Steve

Thanks for the suggestion Steve.
It does look a bit like leather when you say it that way, hehe. However it is intended to be a different type of darker wood inset into the base wood. I have a couple of sets already of leather embedded into wood. at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.
