yup, those are cool. gonna publish? i could probably turn some of those into brush strokes.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I will work on them a bit more but I do want to get some more filterage out on the site so I will probablly most likely consider publishing them.
P.S. what do you mean into brush strokes? PS? How does that work? |

i stated that sort of wrong. what i meant was i could use them to create effects that look like brush strokes on images... maybe. or, thinking about that some more, one could take almost any of those images and make psp or ps brushes out of them. would probably work well.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

----Ha ! I have a "Dr.'s Prescription" filter I never finished that's similar only bigger (fake writing) and only up to 6 lines.  Cool stuff though, I bet it'd go HU in under a year easy by itself as a sort of snippet/utility filter.

nice ones, red. you shld finish the sponge and publish. the writing one tickles me and nothing wrong with the bloody nose one.

i think it would depend on whether you're shooting for artificial, man-made sponge, or natural sponge. this one looks more like the man-made variety.

um.. plus man-made sponges come in a variety of colours
 , but for natural would need bigger holes. Way cool ideas though Redcap.Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Thanks all! I still have a long way to go on them but ultimately I do want to publish the sponge and text one. I will keep you posted on their progress.

nice ones. that first one reminds me a bit of gears meshing together. wrong colors, but still i see gears.
and it took me a while to remember, but the second reminds of a true, old time kaleidoscope pattern. the third looks like you've been studying under voldemort
and the fourth is a bit too busy for my tastes. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Ditto on that. Cool part fractal you have going there, I can see some possibilities with the last one but wonder what it would be like if you can do the line parts in block sections and have plain area's. More like a combo of the last two together? Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

We don't have any good man hole cover filters, or at least any I have seen so I have been playing around with Kevin's radial repeat filter and got this. It is looking promising of being a true radial mosiac!
