A couple of these are being developed for a friend's project, other just fit into the autopsy theme, all are still in development but are starting to get there. This thread I'll add other texture in development, from time to time.

now those are just freaky cool. some need a little work, like the skin cuts as you said, but you can certainly see the potential here. that meaty one is particularly gorey good smile:) i like the first hair one best and then the third. for some reason, the 2nd hair doesnt work for me, though. the bit of gore one looks like hemoglobin in a solution of milk or something, but the overall is still good; i'd just change that white background to something else... skin? black? transparent?

the muscles one strikes me as too dark but i like the veins sticking up from it.

the internal one doesnt strike me as anything bodily. it seems to have too much reflection or something.

and the vainy ones are good, but a bit too crowded, i would think. still, very effective.

so, a very nice set here, carl smile:)

yeah I think your right, the friend went with the first one [ though I wasn't particularly happy with it ] I'll try and get a sample of the use smile:)

it's really on a transparent, but I put in a white B/g to see it better

I've been playing around with the illusion of two surface heights within a filter, but your right it doesn't really look like internals smile;)

Yup, looks like it. Almost 8 months now and counting... smile;) smile:devil:

Since you asked: Currently I'm working freelance on an animated feature, so there's little time for working on filters, the FF wiki or any dormant personal projects. Haven't been forging seriously for over half a year now... smile:|

[ I'm still planning to see my Kingdoms filter to glorious completion though, as well as some others, but I think that'll be around the time the v2 open beta hits.]

i'd be interested in knowing how you're doing that. i'm hoping FF v2.xx will have a free floating height component and that we dont have to simulate it any more when we want more than one height compute.

dilla, an animated feature? as in film for the big screen? that rocks! and even if it's not for the big screen, it still rocks! smile:) got a web page we could look at for some pre-release teasers?

there is a thread in the general discussion forum, i think it is, where vlad mentions possibly this fall, and i think he said late fall. and i'm sure he didnt make that as a promise, just a rough estimate, so dont try and pin him to it smile;)

If you're definition of cool is gamma-testing an old and bloated piece of 3d abandonware in production and getting paid for it, then yeah. smile;)
