Nothing interesting yet, very simple test but have created an essential filter that takes an image and splits it into 4 different particles for the bombers. Here is a picture of the simple test.  |

"Image Hose" from Painter. Best. Tool. Ever 
Anyway, you can see bright fringing around the edges of those leaves. I think that's caused by improper blending in the Bomber component itself?

How do you slice the image 4-ways with Bomber? I thought of using Offset, but there's still a question of scaling.
If you offset into the center, and mask off so you get only the center, you can do that with 4 different offsets. That would give a single image, but lots of "dead space" around the edges, which would make you scale the particle size, which would generate more overdraw and thus render slower. But that's probably how I'd do it for now...

I think allowing for more image components would be more convenient & user-friendly, but until then, this is a fine way to do it. I like the leaves; I wonder if you could reduce the chance in the middle to make a leafy frame?

he/she'll be back. i think that was the same person as before. lol. what goes through someone's mind in order to want to produce only that kind of effect. just weird. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
