			Yes, I like the first one too. My only advice would be to set Anti-Aliasing to All Pixels to smooth the edges.

yes, i pretty much turn off all anti-aliasing for faster testing. i often tweak filters over a long period of time, so turning this off works best for me while building. and, because i often put 20 or more presets on a filter, i just dont turn the anti-aliasing back on on all those.
 and the nice thing about the first one is, you can adjust that effect quite a bit.

   I like the first one the best too. Can you split the glass apart to
 give a separated broken glass effect? I have been working on such but I not come up with an acceptable effect. Such an effect would be a cool.

 no, i havent even tried to split the glass. i think you'd need one of the math gurus around here for that. interesting idea, though.
