Looks like an egg version of this: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/7860.html, but you got better shine on the lower levels, nice work.

Cool effect !! It looks like the eggs are moving. Very good the depth that it has and most important is that NONE of the eggs overlap any other. Very well done

Please, Uberzev could you be so kind to explain HOW you have been able to make SO VERY WELL the distribution of the eggs so they are really all individually shown and NONE of them are cut, or mixed with the other, and are kept perfectly the complete shape and they are shown in different levels of depth?

This is really great.

I admire you and how you make things and in a very good advanced way.

I have seen how this is done through the link that Totte has put in the post above for the "pile of stones by Totte" filter, although your eggsplosion has MORE depth and looks even more realistic than the Totte filter example.

Here's the untouched filter from 1 year ago...

Even though I'm not satisfied with it I'd like the final say before any spinoffs are submitted to the library.

The filter uses a number of "hacks" that give the bomber component additional functionality. While clever (if I do say so) this ultimately frustrated me due to the kludge factor.

However it appears that the bomber component has been much improved in ver3. I'll revisit this...

I have seen now that you have put a pre-release version of this.

THANKS VERY MUCH for showing it and how is done your own version.

WHAT IS REALLY SURPRISING is that your version is really VERY MUCH SIMPLER than the Totte´s filter and have much less components smile:?:

Very well done !!

This is a nice filter.
I can learn alot from it, regarding bomber hacking and height maps.

YES, this is a clever, interesting, simpler and well done way to do this in a "weird" (at least for me) way that gives very good results.

I still have to understand how this all is done as this is in the advanced level.

Like much the depth, richness in texture and 3D feeling, real and great metallic look, and how they are arranged that none of them touch the other and are all very well organized inside the chaos.

If you want to share it on the forum that's fine.

(Not the Library though, that requires special licensing.)

OK, thanks uberzev, I will prepare it and will make it available in the forum, when I have it ready, as now is not well prepared to be used by others as it is now.

WOW, I just took a look under the hood....

How would you go about doing this with the FF3 bomber? smile:|
See, that's why you need obsolete components!
