Hi,

I'm currently experimenting with digital photo enhancement using Filter Forge. My first result has just been accepted in the gallery!

The filter helps restoring information from too dark shadows or too light highlights, two quite common problems in digital photography. It is similar to Photoshop's Shadow/Highlight adjustment. However, my filter gives more feedback about its operation and thus more control.

It is also similar to a plugin named Light Machine but it doesn't cost 70 bucks smile;-) (to be fair, Light Machine can do more than my filter).

Make sure you use the "Select view" (see filter description) for fine tuning!

As Filter Forge's standard image isn't really helpful for evaluating my filter I attached a pair of before/after images at the end of this posting.

You can download the filter at http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1176.html .

Looking forward to feedback,
David

----That's a pretty impressive example, at least as good as some of the 3rd party shareware Photoshop plugs I've seen. smile:)
