Well not exactly a new method..Still gotta work out the bugs and weird spots on this filter. It can produce some very cool looking patterns. Going with the same components as the last filter only adding a bit to that. Except this filter goes a little quicker depending on the detail in the patterns. I may name it Advanced Patterns or anyone else have a name. Any thoughts... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times!

I was thinking the name "The Pattern Room" may be appropriate for this filter. Since many styles of patterns can be made with this filter. Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times!

Hmm, that yellow one is hurting my feelings, and my eyes ha-ha, I think I need to look directly at it. It seems like you're on to something with those, but to be honest, it doesn't look "done" yet really. There is quite a bit of variety showing already though, I can't argue that. Maybe keep hacking away at the wiring, there's got to be more you can do with them, maybe even more intricate/interesting patterns, without losing the symmetry and details. And hey now, I should know, I've made several mediocre pattern/kaleidescope filters, you can do even better than this.

I can't speak for the yellow pattern directly but sorry about that. You might want to put on for the next one..I kept it yellow for more color variations..Also got some interesing other variations..Have to still work more on this to smooth everything out..

Oooo, some kind of weird radial gradientness, nice. Is the contrast adjustable ? It must be, judging by pic #3 of these 4 examples. The 1st one, and this last one here, really have that over-saturated smooth *presence* I was mentioning before. Great for laundry detergent/dorito/soda pop packaging graphics ha-ha

The only problem with this one now is I need to put it aside for the moment to work on another one. Using the same method I came accross something that I have been trying to do for a little while now..Its another frame filter. It takes a while to render but has lots of details. It shouldn't take quite as long to finish as the one above.. Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times!

The only thing I don't like about making filters, well at least I gotta stop changing things all the time when they look cool already..For "The Pattern Room" I had to change a couple of components so of course the results changed..However got much more detailed results. Just gotta create some more presets, name the controls and then its done..For now.. Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times!

you been busy, CF nice!
are the patterns being made as stand-alone or are you using an imported image to make them?

Yep been a little busy with FF hehe.. :afro:
Well all the patterns except the frames picture are all stand alone..The Pattern Room is the filter..But the last pict is what it now is..I had to change some components and in doing so lost the first couple of patterns..Of course I forgot to save the filter before the changes so I have to go back and try to recreate the filter before the changes..
