And reducing the size pixels from the 2750 to 600 yo get that the great and weird sketch effect follows the original edges of the source as you can see here

SpaceRay, I like your examples. The demonic-rusterized tiger looks like an old leather book cover.

And the pansy flower examples look like crazy skull masks, I love it

If in the above example I applied the Rusterizer filter, in this one here below I have the BuzzSim effect from Topaz Labs Simplify 3.

GOOD idea for the update and this morning I was ALREADY making some tests on portraits to see how WEIRD and unexpected the result could be and with version 1.0 I got this

Only thing I wish I could improve about my filter is the graininess.

why do not release this great filter to the library ?

What else is missing or need to be added ?

or do you want to optimize it more or make it better in some way ?

I do not want this amazing filter gets lost in the forum as it happens with many others interesting and useful filters.

And a Lion through the preset 4 of this filter and then activated the monochrome checkbox in settings

Also the above one here is made also in the same way

Also with the upgrade posted here above I have added some new presets to show what can be done

YES! Sorry if this has been a very simple way to add a image blending to the result, but this is as much I can know on how to do it as far until now

That I think respects the overall appearance of the filter rather than a simple blend at the end.

It sounds interesting and could be good, but regretably do not have as much experience as you and can´t do it as you suggest, it would be good that if you know it and if you want, you could do it yourself and show it.

I do not want mixing to images so that both of them are with the woodcut effect.

If it can be so much cooler as you suggest, I would like to see how cooler can it be, if you want of course to make it and show it
