Firefox, Chrome, IE; none of them work.
I've run a special uninstaller and re-installed with the latest version (7.5 32bit). It shows up in Chrome and Firefox's plugins list but but still doesn't work.
Update: Looks like there's some bigger problems like not being able to run CMD.exe. I think that's connected. |

Open the Java applet in the Control Panel, switch to the Java tab and check if the runtime is enabled there.

Did that and it is.
I can run Java desktop apps like JDownloader just fine... |

Pretty sure some malware that I had/have now is the root of all these issues. MS Security Esentials & Webroot both claim no infections but there's lots of weird stuff going on.
Been wanting to reinstall windows anyway... |

Looks like I fixed it. Just needed to do some work in the recovery console.
