Blending Modes Explained – The Complete Guide to Photoshop Blend Modes
Do not go away because it is told that is for photoshop, because in FF blend modes are the same I have found this tutorial that explains how to use the blend modes that are included in FF (Filter Forge), that as far as I know, they are the same as the ones included in Photoshop, so it does not matter if you have photoshop or not to learn how they work, as it will work the same in FF In FF instead of layers you have the Blend mode component that will mix two sources with the selected blend mode, and you can use if wanted multiple blend modes components combined As far as I remember the blend modes in FF are not used much in FF filters, so I wanted to put this here to help the people that do not know how to use them I know that is very bad that FF does not have a drop down option to choose blend modes BY NAME, or instead an opening window (as it happens on presets) and you have to awkwardly work with a slider of numbers
