Hello,
With just this words, I think that this configuration is NOT at all the highest gaming settings and is far away fr om it. If you think that because having a six-core will be much better than ANY other quad core chip you are wrong, because what is really important is the resulting perfomance and not the core number and also AMD is now far away behind in perfomance, although is cheaper than other intel chips WHAT PRICE YOU WANT TO PAY I have seen that this configuration you have put cost 1413 £ Please is this the limit price you want to pay ? So as you said that you want the highest gaming settings, the highest gaming computer you can buy is this one here --> http://www.buildyourbox.co.uk/pc/maxi...-gaming-pc BUT the "little" problem is that it cost 5160 £ ![]() MY OWN CHOICE OF HIGHEST GAMING COMPUTER FROM THIS WEBSITE From the List that is available in the website I would really choose this computer here ---> http://www.buildyourbox.co.uk/pc/reap...-gaming-pc It has a price of 1642£ which I think is very good for all that you get and all is high quality components
It has much better perfomance and is speedier and faster than the Six Core AMD although is still Quad Core BUT really is like an 8 core, because it has HT so is like converting 4 cores into 8. This Reaper - i7 OC gaming PC have the most newest and latest motherboard with the best chipset to get the most from the newest chip and will give much better perfomance, with a very good graphic card, a powerful and quality PSU with 850W and quality 8 GB RAM. I think that the 200£ difference is well worth considering that is a much better computer and I also like much better this case than the other one, at least this is my taste and opinion. If you want to really know the difference of perfomance between AMD X6 and Intel i7 2600K you can look at this benchmark chart here for exaple http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/charts/...,2432.html BEST GAMING CPU in JUNE 2011 ? Best Gaming CPU for £200+: Core i7-2600K (£233) http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/best-ga...221-4.html |
