It was only a variation in passing so to speak, it wasn't what I wanted for the filter I was making, but thought it was nice smile:D

Grrr smile:evil: trying to update a filter and I get this..

" Unfortunately, we cannot accept the filter Ghostly Blue you have submitted to the Filter Library. All Library filters are seamlessly tiled; your filter, with 'Seamless Tiling' option turned on, produces sufficiently different result than with this option off. You can try to correct this discrepancy and resubmit it "

I do not know how I can correct this. Can anyone shed some light on it please smile:)

Good morning. I am fine thanks. smile:) Your sample looks very nice. I think it has potential.

That's how I get some of my best filters.

This has been one of my biggest problems as well.
I am looking at your folds filter to see if there is anything I can do to reconcile the tiling issue. I really like the effect you are getting with the gamma curve and stones noise. Folds of Material is a very nice filter. smile:)

Craig, Yep, he's wearing a Mad Hatter hat. It is big! It also cost more than we expected...like everything else about the wedding.

Carl, those H's are neccessary for health and happiness, so I was tempted to keep that one for the future, but then decided to go ahead and drop that one here for free.

Ron, thanks for the smiley, now no one will need to be confused ever again. I hear this one will even help clear up the confusion brought on by Altzeimer's (sp?).

Lady Fayre, I take it that one includes the trademarked pink slider component? smile:-p ... smile:D

Ron, anti-aliasing smooths out the jaggedy pixel like crap around edges. It's a smoother.

This won't help with it now but when you do a texture filter try building it with the seamless tiling ticked. If you could post here the filter thats not working we could have a look at the problem otherwise it's hard to guess - your original one was excepted has it changed drasticly.

your sample looks good smile;)

Good morning Carl smile:) Thanks for mentioning about the tiling, normally I do have it ticked. I had been changing around the image of 'Ghostly Blue' and was happy with the end result, which is currently different to the present filter in the library

I'm not even sure it can be solved. Which is too bad because it is just the kind of thing Vlad likes. The fabric texture needs work but the folds are incredibly realistic. I'm not giving up entirely but I am going to have to shelve it for now. I will work on it in my spare time.

Tick the vertical stretch in the noise component smile;) looks good the folds look very realistic smile8) but you'll have the tiling problem - haven't had a chance yet to see the solution but will try to make time tomorrow smile:)

smile:blush: Why thank you smile:) You guys are great smile:) I have been looking at 'Folds of Material' and have spotted where the problem might lie. I think its in 'Stones'. Am trying to figure it out without loosing the way the filter looks.

That's what Carl was saying too. The problem is that stones is also where the success of the filter lies. Get rid of stones and you get rid of 'Folds of Material'. smile:cry:

Its a miserable morning here weather wise, been raining and its so dull I have to have the light on!

I have worked on ' Folds of Material' and have made a sequel to it and hopefully it turns out right. It is not the same as the original but I can't get passed the obstacle of the 'stones'smile:hammer: ..will keep at it though to try and figure it out
