Your from one extreme to another LOL Van Gogh I think is the greatest artist of all time, every stroke had emotion - I have a Van Gogh filter I've tinkered and fiddled with since I started at FF but it hard to put soul into a pixel that why so much computer art is soulless [ not all thankfully ]gimmicky and artificially moody - you look at the masters you posted and tell me how any filter can capture that expression and passion

I'm not 100% sure which one I was talking about. This thread is like a black hole, trying to find an old reference is almost impossible. But knowing me it was probably Mirromask. That is one of my favorites, it is a beautiful movie. I also like the looks of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Also add Alien with H.R. Giger's work.
