Got some busy folks here .....

Mardar ... Your first guy looks like something out of the middle ages. I agree with Morgantao, you got a bit of Pippi going there as well with that fancy hair. (did you know that the guy who wrote "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" said his character was based on a grown up Pippi Longstockings?) The texture is really working on that last mask. He is a fun guy. That batik background sets the image off just right.I like the funky pupils .....

Ghislaine ... Your Miss Caribbean is quite good. The face stucture and nose, lips, and eyes are perfect for the image. I must say I'm very impressed by the hair. It looks like clay modeling, so very realistic. Your trips to Haiti have really helped you understand that culture and it showas. Your bunny guy is very funny. Those sleepy eyes and floppy ears make me hungry for a chocolate one .....

Morgantao ... My blue guy is kinda shy and surprised at the attention ....

LOL Ghislaine, love your Chocolate bunnies. Very well painted, even down to his candy eyes. smile:D Your last mask is very good too. He looks like he is dreaming of chocolate bunnies. smile:D I like his eyes and brow. Very good. smile:love:

It's been a busy weekend here, but I did manage to get this guy made. I used Genes carved wood grain to give him a smooth polished look and use Ghislaine's Flower generator to make some tropical flowers for this Tiki inspired fellow.

Morgantao OMG If I had one of those I would never get to work and would get fired for sure. LOL That is awesome. smile:beer:

It seems even Prince Charles tried this. The young guy talking to him is the Hungarian inventor.

Ghislaine .... Boy you sure ruined my diet with your chocolate bunny. I ate the ears first just like I have since I was a kid. The eyes were kinda sugary though. And, it is always milk chocolate for me. That dark stuff is too bitter. Your "Man who thinks" is a real fun guy. His ears really stand out and the rest of him is so unique. The shape of his mouth and sleepy eyes give him a lot of character. You always do such unusual stuff. Keep up the good work.

Mardar ... What a funny little guy. It looks just like a carving. (Not quite tiki but stiil cool) The squinty eyes and laughing mouth makes him look like he just heard a good joke. Ghislaine's flowers really add to the design. That gives me some ideas of my own ..... Cool dude.

Making faces with Sculptris is so much fun, but doing full figures is hard for me. Trying to pull out legs and arms and having them look right is difficult. And, it is really time consuming. On this guy I cheated by having him fold his hands in front of him. I worked on it until I got tired of it and feel it is not quite right. (funny, some folks say the same thing about me) I think he is one of the worse hummels ever made. Must have been a bad day at the factory .....

Mardar, your Tiki looks very happy and perfect with Genes carved wood grain. I wonder what is happens to his ears smile:?: I love the bg that you have added and it is a good use of my flowers. smile;)

Gene, poor guy... some fingers are missing and one of his feet is... LOL. You are better to stop eat chocolate bunnies smile:!: If this is your first attempt for full guy, he is so cute. Well done smile:!:

I think that my clown will fit with your guy.

LOL Gene you and Ghislaine are thinking on the same wave link. smile:D

Gene love your full body guy. He does seem to have some strange features, but some of the details are awesome. Love his laces on his shoes and that tiny little hat on his head. His face is great. Really a nice expression. He reminds me of the clowns in Europe. They have a much different look and style than American clowns. (American clowns tend to wear suits and work in Washington D.C.) smile:D

Ghislaine your clown is awesome. Love his expression and that cute tie. His ears are wonderful. You are getting very good at making them. (Much better than the ones on my last guy.) smile:D Love his nose and eyes too. Super job Lady.

So my guy is a clown? I never know what I'm making. They just turn out that way. Some of the stuff is quite wrong on the guy, (the fingers are right though. He is basically a cartoon. Cartoons have only 4 fingers. Check out Micky Mouse) like a musicain I know says about trying to play guitar like his hero: "I couldn't do it like he did, but I did it this way. Not right, but that's my style ..."

Mardar ... Forgot to mention before, I noticed the cracks in your tiki. Tricky, tricky .... makes it look old ....

Ghislaine ... Your clown is perfect. He is funny and cute. The eyes really draw in the focus of the image. They are unique. Love the bow tie. This is a well balanced face with some areas humorously exagerated and some tastefully simple. This is one of your best ... It would look really cool painted .....

Ghislaine ... I think your guy is either a female ninja turtle or Mrs Thing. (Do they have Fantastic Four comics way up in the cold north?) Your stuff is always strangely unique and lots of fun. Keep having fun ......

This clown thing we had going lead me to upload this guy. He has nothing to do with Sculptris or FF. I carved him on my Ipad with 123D a free app from AutoDesk that is kinda like Sculptris, but not as good. You cannot get as good detail, but it has a good paint brush. I wish they would upgrade it so you could save as an object file so I could use it to sketch in and transfer to Sculptris for detail work. Anyway this is what you can do on an Ipad ......

Hi Craig ! Long time no see... Glad that you come back here. smile:)

Gene, It seems that I have trouble derogate style that I developed. I often try to do something else, but it is always the same style.

I do not know many people that you name probably because I spent my childhood in another country. So I was at boarding school where there was no television. That's why I'm lost in the names When you give a "monster" is created. I just then to comment only on the forms.

Your new creation is very pretty. This clown is a success. Thanks for the info, I will see for this 123D.

It's interesting what you say. Actually, my neighbors call me mother cats because I feed the cats on the street who spend at home. I can not stop me fr om doing that. I love all animals, but I have a strong passion for felines. They are so smart and cute.

When I was a kid, I associated the cat with the witch. Probably because of the images wh ere we saw a witch, a black cat and a broom.

By the way, here's a witch, but without cat. I applied on her your Strange Weaver smile;) Background.

You have all been busy since my last visit. smile;)

Ghislaine your first lady is different, but I like her hair. My grandmother use to wear her hair rolled up in a bun like that. You also do great eye expressions. Your witch is great. I love that you did a side view of her. She looks very old and tired. Great job. smile:love:

Gene I like your clown. You did really good for it being an app on Ipad. For you being restrained you sure got a lot of expression and great color on him. smile;)

Hi Craig. Glad you dropped in. smile;) Isn't that leonar3do just awesome?

LOL very nice sculpt Ghislaine. He or she looks a little like a fish person. Those big lips and the gill like things on the side of his head are very fish looking. smile:D Great job lady. Glad you didn't pitch him in the garbage. He's too good for that.
smile:love:

My latest is a Bug head. LOL he is very grumpy looking. Maybe because he doesn't have a body. smile:D

Craig I did a little googling and it seems that several online reviews are saying that leonar3do costs about $1000 US, that is a little rich for my wallet, but it seems very reasonable for what this program can do. smile;) I'm sure if this gets popular the price may come down.

Well done your Bug ! The details are very nice. I think that you took the black material for this little wonder ! smile:) I look forward for your next filter. Hoping it will not take too long because it seems beautiful. smile;) I'm working on a wrinkled fabric filter. Yes I did use the black material and then I just tinted him green to give him a "buggy" look. smile:D

I made this background filter a long time ago, but I just recently updated it a bit and it turned out sort of nice. It makes bright and pastel Pop art abstracts. It should be nice for backgrounds and wallpaper. I'll try to get it ready for Mondays post. smile;)

A wrinkled fabric filter sounds interesting. I'm sure it will be great. I don't think anyone has uploaded a fabric filter for a while. I'll be waiting for it. smile:D

Ghislaine ..... Your sculpt is definately a young lady. I can tell by the shape of the head, bright lipstick, and I think what Mardar thought were gills are some of those fancy earrings you ladies love to wear ......

Mardar ... How did you get that evil looking bug to pose? Ugly guy, but nice background.

I really like Chachah's Lacquer Coated Painting filter. It is a great texture maker. This is a kinda dorky guy with lots of cool texture thanks to that filter. I call him the gold guy, like he was carved and then splattered with melted gold.

It's that same guy again. This time I cropped to just the face. I gave him some eyes and some highlights to make him more human. I had lots of fun doing repeated combinations of Mardar's Sprayed Stars filter and Ghislaine's GF Plasterizer filter. I would apply Ghislaine's filter and then fade it back quite a bit and then do it again with another preset which I fiddled with. The result is not quite either filter but a crazy combo of both. Then I floated my ghostly fellow into the scene ... It was lots of fun to do .....

Awesome sculpts Gene. You got some really serious texture on the Gold Guy. It looks just like splattered gold all over him. He really pops out of the graph. Great job.

Love the second guy too. Totally different look from the same sculpt. I never would have thoughts to use my sprayed stars as an overlay like that. And mixing it with Ghislaine's filter really gives it a great dreamy quality. I like the nice red bronze color on his face too. Super job on both these Gene. smile:love:

Well since Gene pointed out that Ghislaine had earrings on her sculpture, I had to make a pretty Royal Princess with earrings made out of some hearts made in Ghislaine's Metallic Heart v1 filter. She also has a beautiful blue scarf and a pretty henna tattoo on her neck.

The background is a tile made in Genes Strings Of Color filter then I ran it through his Digital Impressionism filter to give it a lot more texture. Hope you like it. smile:D

I did not use a plane but the pearl above. After I saved my Bunny Boxer, I had to finish him with another software. You can try again with the pearl and after, you finish your guy with PS or a similar software.

And thanks for your comments Mardar and Gene.

Hey everyone, sorry I have been absent most of the week. My Mom is in hospital. Her heart had blockage and they did a balloon expansion on it today. She was doing well this evening, but they want to keep an eye on her for another day or two. So I might be scarce for a day or two. Take care and I'll post when I have time. smile:love:
