Ghislaine ... The flower sculpture is amazing. You came up with the perfect material as well. The frog looks kinda sad or he is pouting. That is a super green. You are getting some fantastic shapes anymore ....

This guy was made using Ghislaine's pearl material that I recolored a bit in Photoshop. The bacckground was created with Ghislaine's v2 filter. I think he is the Minotaur's kid brother Fred. He was always picked on because of his funny floppy ears.

Your guy is well done Gene and I'm glad that you use the pearl and v2. He looks half humain, half animal because his ears and hairs... a kinda alien horse smile:)

You will not have to recolor your creations with PS because I have created a lot of material of all colors, so I will mail it to you today if I get time. It is in a zip file but a big one, close to 10 mb. Sure you will enjoy this material. smile:)

Everyone thank you so very much for the well wishes. smile:love: Mom has had a couple of set backs with other issue besides her heart. Bladder infection and lung troubles, but she is improving. She may be in hospital for several more days but she has some of the best Doctors around to take care of her. The trip to Cincinnati is stressful for me (hour and a half ride one way) but I get as much rest as I can. No time to play right now, but I'll be back as soon as she is home and better.

Ghislaine the flowers are absolutely beautiful. I have downloaded them and will show Mom as soon as she feels up to it. Pink is her favorite color. I don't know how you knew that. We will cherish your kindness forever. And thank you for the gift in the e-mail you are so sweet. smile;) smile:love: Your frog is so cute. I love him.

Gene, your Minotaur's kid brother Fred, is a hoot. Love all the details and Ghislaine material is wonderful for him. I will make a Doctor related sculpture when I get the chance. Thank you my dear friend. smile:love:

Morgantao and my sweet friend Carl. Thank you for the good wishes. I really appropriate it very much. smile:love:

I'm off to grab some of that scarce rest. I'll check in again when I can. I hope with good news next time. smile:love:

Mardar ... Hang in there ... try to get some rest ... the future will be brighter ...

Ghislaine ... Sorry about my rambling goofyness ... The Minotaur was the Greek myth about the half man half bull that guarded the labyrinth of Crete. Mine is a not very scary dude, so I figured it was his kid brother .....

Hope that your mother feels better!
It's hard looking after someone you love and not being able to help them much. All you can do is keep her mood up, which is part of the recovery process.
Get some rest when you can, and we'll save you a seat for when you have more time to join us smile:)

Fine ! I prefer Morgan. It is more short.

Gene, for you, if you want my name more short, just use Gigi. On the 2 forums where I'm modo, they call me Gigi. So... no problem.

Mardar, thanks for your kind words. Hoping that everything will be better for your mom and your father, also for you. Take care of you. smile:)

Wow Morgan! I love your pictures! I didn't know that these animals had exist. I do I had never seen them before. I was with the men of the caves may be in another earlier life. Who knows! The choice is difficult, but as I am "greedy" (as Carl said), I opt for both. Thank you for this find! smile:)

Here another one... must be in the same family

Gigi .... This dude is very cool .... The color is quite nice and well done. The goatee (or whatever folks are calling those little beards now a days) is good for the face and the way you have the ears pulled away from the face is very natural looking. These brighter colors really make your faces stand out better against the black background ..... I like this funny little guy ....

One last try at a full figure. I found an Ipad app called Imesh which is a 3D app which can put together different elements such as cylinders and spheres. I built up those elements into something that looked like a funny stickman, and exported it as an OBJ file which I brought into Sculptris. I sculpted it into this strange guy. I painted him and put into one of Gigi's great background filters and built a dock for him. I call him "The Fisherman" and he is telling us about the one that got away ....

Okay I don't show up for a few days and you all start talking about how old we all are. The Pyramids are old and so is the Grand Canyon and they are still wowing people, so enough with that kind of talk. smile:D

I had to put my Dad in a nursing home day before yesterday and Mom may soon be in the same place if they release her from hospital today. They will be just up the street from me. I can walk there in a few minutes if I had too it is so close. But this is good news. They will be taken care of 24/7 and I can stop worrying about them being at home many times alone for several hours. It's been a rough week, but I think maybe some of the pressure has been taken off of me. I have been working with them for the last 15 years to keep them independent and in their home, but that time I'm afraid has ended. I'm going to look at this as a positive not a negative. So enough about my troubles. smile;)

Gigi (I love that nick name) your ancient creatures are more awesome than awesome. Wow they are great. Your multi color guy is very nicely done. I'm jealous of the way you are doing ears so well. I'm still having a hard time with ears.

Gene your fishing guy is wonderful. I see he even has on one of your shirts with that great muppet party guy on it. I love that silly critter you made. smile:D Gigi the fish was so big it pulled his fishing rod and reel right out of his hands. LOL Great job Gene on a really well put together scene.

Hi Morgan I have missed talking to you. I see you have a new filter up. I'll try to get to it soon. smile;)

And last, but certainly not least, Carl. I see you are up to some mischief on here. I'm gone a few days and you start acting up. Did you miss me that much? LOL Just kidding you my friend. Hope to see a new sculpt by you soon. smile;)

Good to hear from you Mardar.
I'm sure putting your parents in a nursing home is a tough choise, but sometimes it's the best thing to do, both for them and for you. If they need constant care and you can't be with them all the time, it's not good for them, and not good for you, as you worry about them constantly.

I hope that you will have more time for us soon. smile:)

Thank you Morgan for the kind words. It was the toughest thing I have ever done. Especially that they both got so ill at the same time. It has been like taking a short walk into Hell.

I made this Golden Helmet last night. It was nice to get my mind off of things for a few minutes. This was made using one of Gigi's great orbs. Love the color.

Then I used my new filter to do a sketch overlay on the helmet and also a wood sketch over a green stripe background. Looks completely different.

I made a try with your last filter... a mix of my multicolor guy above applied on your Patterned Fabric filter... and on the fabric, I have applied Painted with boxes Gene's filter. Finally, For the end, your Sketch on image. It gave me this :

Here is my latest. This is "Young Green Demon".

I used Morgan's great M_Shadows and Highlights filter to enrich the color on this guy. It really gave him an almost oily look. The clay was very washed out to start with, but now he is very slimy and icky. smile:D

Thanks Mardar for my green guy. All the names you wrote are unknown for me. So when I create a guy or a monster, nothing inspired me before. I think that I was on another planet during my young age. smile:D

Gigi ... You sure showed another good use for Mardar's filter. Those look like woodcut prints. Gives me ideas .... I have been trying to figure out where I have seen your green guy before. He looks like somebody I have seen. I know that is crazy because all your stuff come out of your very clever mind. That said, if the blue guy had gills he would look just like a monster in an old movie I saw as a kid. He was from a place called the Black Lagoon ... There is a real nice design quality to the first one with your background texture ... I do like it when you use backgrounds, but that is just how I am. Not meant to be a criticism ......

This guy was created in 123D on my Ipad. I cheated on the hair. It is from another goofy Ipad app. Most of you will not get this, but my wife says he looks like the ex-govenor of Illinois who is now in jail .... I first thought he looked like Fat-Elvis ... He was carved from a box. That is why he looks so square.

I was suprised to learn my filter was used on it, I'm honored smile:)
Isn't the background made with SpaceRay's new filter?

Gig, my wife took one look at the blue guy and asked "why is this guy familliar"? She thinks she saw him in a movie. Apparently you you made a movie star smile:D

Mardar, he seems a very kind looking demon, that probably makes him the most evil of all smile:eek:

Gigi, there was a puppet series on the box when I was a kid, that were underwater creatures, half man half sea creatures [ can't remember the name ] use to love it, though it was very scary at the time. This guy I'm sure looks like one of the characters smile:)
