In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit .

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information: I'm doing it as a public service.

I like weeds; they keep the lawn green even if you never water it. Very low maintenance. smile:D

Been working on my political site all day. I've had it for years and am just now getting around to cleaning it and updating. Man, what a mess. smile:D

Political Site smile:?: was that grass site yours smile:?: - you seem to have a complex system before you even vote in an election - you don't have compulsory voting which is a shame, over the year I have decided it's actual a good thing to be made to vote [ can't quite believe I said that LOL ] it requires politician to consider everyone not just the wealthy and affluent smile:)

GEORGE W. BUSH PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY DESTROYED BY FLOOD Crawford, Texas (AP)

A tragic flood this morning destroyed the personal library of President George W. Bush. The flood began in the presidential bathroom where the books were kept. Both books have been lost.

A presidential spokesman said the president was devastated, as he had almost finished coloring the second one. The White House tried to call FEMA but there was no answer.

No, I don't like bush or anyone in his family, I don't like the clintons, mc cains, or any of the trash that is passing itself off as our government or soon to be government. They are all criminals.

I was thinking of sending the chimp a new coloringbook. smile:D

Very interesting, all drugs have to be approved here before they can be sold, generic drugs are becoming more popular which is a good thing because it forces the large drug companies to be slightly more competitive. There has been many drugs over the year which have turned out to have detrimental side effect released by major drug companies - so what I'm saying is there is no guarantees with any source of drugs and unfortunately drug companies have a poor record of working for the good of humanity, rather a reputation for greed, withholding and exploitation. Don't get me wrong what your concerned about is completely legitimate and I agree with you, pharmaceutical companies are all not to be trusted smile;) smile:)

any reason your filters are being removed from the library ('Abstraction Painter > Arp' or 'StevieJ's Glass' for example)? And what about ron's 'Killer Clown'?

Hi Dilla, well I just wanted to get rid of some of my lame filters that no one is using/like, not all or I'd have no filters LOL in fact a lot of my filters seem to be going low and no hu's since last year smile:cry: when I've reworked filters they have stayed low so some of the 12 I deleted may return modified and a fresh start - Steve doesn't post here any longer so I doubt he'll read your query but I think he said some where that he was going to condense [ you know what he's like, ten filters of a variation on a theme ] and improve some and resubmit - I think with Ron [ again I don't think he reads here ] that both his clown and beacon he has an improved version in the library so he is just tiding up smile:)

I read! I read! Don't let the lull fool you, my best filters are yet to come. I am a committed ffer. I just greatly underestimated the vast expanse that is the Maya rabbit hole.
I do not consider LUs failures, tear stained though the removal request may be, only bookmarks moved local that need review. smile:)

Hi Ron, the feeling of achievement when you catch the rabbit will make it all worth it smile;) I guess I do think of LU's as unsuccessful and I try not to be guilty of clogging up the library with filter people don't have any use/like for and one wants to keep a certain standard - the library does probly have a thousand or so filters that are rubbish that dilute the quality, I know there is very strong views not to delete anything from the library but I can see when there is say ten thousands filters in the library people are going to be detered by trolling through masses of filter that don't function properly/take to long to render/ten filters that are almost identical/ or are simply useless - who's to judge what good and whats not, well LU must be some indication of filter people aren't interested in, maybe the archiving of LU's might be an answer smile:)

I think you're on to a really good texture here. Maybe you could optionally seperate the top and bottom lips so they could be applied to wine glasses and such.

it was a horrible shameful part of our history which deserved an apology, there is still a part of our society which wanted to ignore it including our previous PM howard who was a scummy bastard racist who wanted the white Australia policy from the turn of 20th century - I have no tolerance for intolerance. A friend keeps sending me clips from utube which are sickening of racist or religious hatred, people don't want to live in harmony or even at least tolerate the differences it really gives me the shits smile:evil: smile:(

ok rant over

I actually had a shot at finger print when I first started at FF but couldn't get it to work - it might be worth a revisit now with a better skill level but if you couldn't get it to work I don't stand much of a chance smile;)

I thought Howard was an embarrassment – spineless and short-sighted. You guys call him a liberal? smile:eek: You Aussies are tough – reminds me of Okies. I do not have a sense for Rudd yet. At least he's not Howard.

For some reason the kiss image is stalling on ff's server. One thought I had was to apply the kiss with large cells so it wasn't so even – or at least so the evenness could be adjusted. Another thought would be something like motion blur so it could be a smudged kiss like lipstick on a glass or shirt.
I would like to have another go at finger prints too but that will have to wait. I had a good idea for a new texture. It seems a little boring but I think it's possible and would be a sleeper HU. Want to hear it? Ok, wait for it...
Foam Rubber! You know, the cushy stuff, like on stereo headphones. People need that all the time. It seems like it some small cells and some sparklies could be used to create great foam rubber. I wish I had time to develop it.

The kiss is looking great!

You surprise me that you are up on Aussie politics, as for rudd I hope he can live up to the rhetoric - he getting rid of work choices [ a very unfair policy that allows employers total power over employees ] - he's trying to stop the whale slaughter by the Japanese and he's trying to address greenhouse gases, and the indigenous problem ........ time will tell smile;) smile:)

I'm definitely going for the lipstick [ left behind ] smudge on collar / glass etc - the one lip for glasses is a good idea - large cells I'll have a look at that.

Foam rubber is an excellent idea,[ it could also be used for cake slice sides as well as well as the foam obvious-es ],and very possible in FF to make...... I hope you find the time to make it, I'm sure it would go HU smile;) smile:)

I get my news from bbc worldservice over the web. They have a little more global take. What is up with the Japanese? The Japanese are great but what is it with them and whales? Leave the whales alone! But oh yeah, they only kill them for science.

Have you read ‘The Grapes of Wrath’? Okie now refers to people from Oklahoma but it used to have very negative connotations. A lot of people were drivin from Oklahoma (the state where I live) in the early part of last century due to dust. I live right in the middle of what was once called the dust bowl. It hasn’t improved much since then. smile8)
I remember my Grandma on my Daddy's side telling me about when it hit. She said she held hands with Grandpa on the front porch and believed the world was coming to an end. It lasted ten years.

Wow that was some dust storm, your grandparents stuck it out they must have been a tough couple, were they farmers.... I have read Grapes of Wrath about thirty five years ago [ High School texts ] and I must admit I don't really remember it [ I know, shame on me as it is a classic ] and wasn't there a movie with Gregory Perkery [ as Frank Zappa called him smile;) ] in it, was that during the depression

That *was* some dust storm. smile:| I always thought Spielberg or someone should do a movie about it. That, and the hobos. At that time a lot of parents told their kids to hit the rails because they could not feed them. So they jumped on freight trains and rode up and down the country. Not just a few there where bunches of hobos.

My grandparents raised three boys, not counting the one that died at on his fifth birthday, during that time. Not that's what I call tough.

Ok sorry Aussie English LOL - That was a very bad dust storm. I remember back in the early 80's during yet another drought and I was living in Melbourne at the time - on the phone gazing out the window when a massive dust storm traveling at incredible speed rolled passed the window obliterating the sun I thought there had been some massive doomsday explosion.

He made the deliveries for the local milk producer but they always had milk cows of their own. And by milk cows I mean beef cows that they milked. They were never dairy cows.

I'm cleaning out all the "dead-weight" LU filters.....reconstructing, condensing, and resubmitting some of the good concepts under a new name. Although some don't mind the LU rank, I think it is the "mark of death" on a filter.....which automatically turns users away from it no matter how you try to improve it. That's part of the reason why I would like to see FF loose the LU ranking and start with Average, Above Average, HU, 2x HU, 3X HU, etc.....

Ron, are you still talking to me??? Sorry that I sounded judgemental about the "Rosie O'Donnel" stuff.....knee-jerk reaction..... smile;) smile:D LOL.....

why, when i was a boy, we planted taters in 10 foot of dust. the taters hated the dust so much they'd grow downwards 'stead of up. to pick them we had to use a tractor digger and haul them up thru all that there dust and it'd mess em all up. and that's how mashed taters first came into being.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
