I know that many here like to make also websites and want to show their work or work for others doing it, and so I wanted to help giving this suggestions and tips that are good for making a better website

You are absolutely right in all points.
I can't stand websites with automatically-playing video. It seems so amateurish to me.

I also agree with all the points, and also think that automatically playing video OR automatic music background is bad and not a good idea for any website.
