Hello
I have seen this very cool and awesome Low Poly Generator Photoshop Action It give really well done and beautiful results for making low poly images with the overlay of those plexus (lines with dots on vertex) or wireframe lines. I do not know if this would be possible in FF, but wanted to put this here as an artistic example |

Based on observation, without buying the actual thing, it looks like this action utilizes the crystalize filter (FilterForge equivalent of stones with fill.) It appears that the action then overlays it with a pre-constructing tiling pattern, which is then masked.
So in other words, this action is really faking everything but it did a good job enough for you to feel that it looks like "low poly triangle things". |

Bonus additional note I noticed: the tiling pattern is pre-shaded and probably multiplied on top to give a nice 3D feel to the triangulation effect.

Thanks for trying to think how it was done, although do not know if it would be possible in FF, and surely would be much faster in photoshop, although do not know about the possible customization and modification of settings, where FF shines and let you modify many setting for getting lots of different variations

I think that there is no point to try to make this in FF as it would be surely much slower and I doubt much that it could be possible By the way I have just bought it as this is an awesome effect |
