You might get some of the vibrant color range from Rick Duim's Picasso Redux, but not the swirls and patterns.
Picasso Redux Anybody else have suggestions? |

Haras, thank you I loaded that filter to an image and it did color it good but as you said still needs something else to make a pattern or swirl.
I'm actually open to other filters that can be used with Picasso Redux to make some type of attractive pattern without image distortion. does not have to be exact pattern as above but not to crazy either. Thank you for quick response. I'm so looking forward to figuring out this. Tina |

successisus, I think this is similar, but not exactly: Trippy Hippy by Carl. Maybe did you use more than one filter for the picture? It looks very good, I hope so, you will find the solution. This is very interested in me.

Thank you,
I'm trying to figure out how to get the pattern and then the color. I do believe trippy hippy and picasso redux would help with colors. Thank you both. Anyone have ideas on a way to break the image into patterns like that or similar with filter forge. If not guess it will be playing with layers and patterns in photoshop. |

Perhaps you could take a texture like:
Marble Madness Swirling Abstract Layers Hippy Swirls and then combine it with your original image using: Graffiti, Tag and Stencil or one of the other filters that lets you combine images. |

One of my filters can add the swirls and some lines.
Temaki Uzumaki Set Uzumaki Sides to 100 if you want circular swirls and Design Selector to 1 if you don't want irregular lines. Here is an example : ![]() |

Maybe the rainbow colors in this one would help:
Rainbows and you could adapt/change the star filter to other shapes to put on top of your image: Star Chaos |

You could find or create a visual style template image via Filter Forge or other tools, then make a style/photo hybrid via any of many tools that have emerged on the back of Google's Deep Dream engine, which renders what neural networks "see" when they analyze images. Click the gear icon and then "Style" at this example:
https://deepdreamgenerator.com/ddream/hg686gy8hxx A list of such tools is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/deepdream/com...ke_my_own/ I know, I'm linking to other services from the forum for a service. But guys. Whatever tools do the job? I find some possibly good style templates doing a web image search for "trippy hippy decorative art." You refer to the prophecy of the pastry that will bring balance to the Force. And you believe it's this...donut? |

Hi
I need to be able to efficiently turn photos into zentangle patterns and other patterns like reaction diffusion. Then add color(s) and or textures. I use a Lot of different photos. Anyway, I need to have the filters figured out and know which comes first etc. And I'm trying to make a Photoshop template so I can load the image and apply the layers. I tend to forget what I did when I'm doing various designs so I need a system and having filters figured out and template in Photoshop seems like a smart way. I messed with last night a photo of a white dog on black background. I applied a pattern I wont use and the color layers are not consistent enough. Too many Gaps too. But I was just trying to get FF effects I need and make the Photoshop template. Ugh, It is fun but I sure did spin my wheels a lot. Still not getting what I need especially when I do the blend modes Filter Forge filters I used Graphic Novel for the outline, Threshold transparency to remove background and Brightness to alpha to remove from image. Then took it to Photoshop. I tried doing it in Photoshop without all the filters but kept having the color blend mode issues. And Illustrator didn't trace the image as well as FF. cant add image too large even after running through RIOT. 4.7 mb |

Hi!
Using a selection on tongue, eyes, nose and around the dog except for the background. But I do not think that this can be create all with only software. There are drawn the dots, stripes, squares and other shapes by hand, they are not on random places. |

Janeway, are you a star trek fan?
You are right probably, I will be painting/touching up some with tablet pen too. If I do not have all the pattern I want in as a hand drawn pattern or texture already. |
