check it out folks, it's beta now so it's free. it's a great little program, very easy to use. look around youtube and photobucket for some good video tutorials to get started quickly. this thing is really powerful for modeling, i've been able to make some really cool stuff in just a couple of minutes of messing around. the texturing capabilities are quite limited, you can add images and do some simple painting, but you can export your models to use in bryce, 3ds max, or other software so it doesn't really matter much. |

you can also get Truespace 3.2 for free these days. i think they're up to version 7 now, so this one is a bit dated (from 1997!) but hey, it's free and it works pretty well ![]() |

Wow, thanks for the links they look great, i have vue6 and silo but not so great with them yet, there not a real big price like some 3d apps so worth checking out if your willing to spend a bit as they are both great, no doubt i will post a few things here when i figure out how to use them well

ooh, world machine looks life fun. ever since i started with FF i really like node-based graphics programs. i'll try that out this week, thanks!
i have no experience at all with 3D stuff, but i just had to share cb model pro, it's very intuitive and fun to use... |
