I searched the forum and read as many threads as I could find to get this problem taken care of… latest one last Aug. 2013 suggesting the us er(s) download an update that was about to be released.
Problem = When I invoke the filters dropdown and choose Filter Forge the PSD app immediately crashes. Without fail. Every time.
The version of FF3 that I just purchased yesterday seems to be the latest version and the problem persists to this day apparently. I need to work in Photoshop the standalone version isn’t going to get it done in my particular workflow.
Running Lion 10.7.5
Filter Forge 3.014 Professional
PSD Cs6 64 bit
Thanks in advance for advice on fixing this.

Hey GMM thx for reply.
It just crashes, no specific error message. A few seconds leter I get the standard 'send/don't send crash report' dialog box. I tried reinstalling (twice) and the second time it allowed me to select a filter for a brief moment... will try yet another reinstall again later today. I will keep you posted to see if I actually receive any error messages that relate to the crash itself.

Hi again GMM,
After removing then reinstalling a total of five times it appears to be working correctly from the dropdown filter menu in PSD CS6.
The installer could use some attention, and definitely not going anywhere near the Beta 4 at this point.

Yes, the installer is an old problem that really needs replacement.
