So I've always felt that FilterForge's editor window has always been pretty slow and laggy compared to me using it on Windows. I'm currently on a retina 15inch late 2016 Macbook Pro. While not horribly unusable, it's pretty laggy that it takes away from the awesomeness. If anything I'd want to see this editor window get a bit more butter smooth.

As a remedy (for now) if you're on a retina display, set your display resolution lower. This seems to bring FilterForge's editor window less laggy, in fact usable speed.

I tried similarly on FilterForge 6 on a Late 2013 Macbook pro but found the lag to be pretty small. Not sure what the difference is.

I'm afraid we don't have any Macbooks to test the issue on, and the interface runs pretty smoothly on our Mac Pros and Mac Minis. We'd be happy to help but we need to somehow reproduce the issue without buying a dedicated Macbook for that smile:)

Yeah I really don't know what either. It appears this is something new to hardware and I hope it'll resolve over time. Maybe an update might fix something who knows. I should note that I noticed how several other programs I've used on this latest Macbook Pro has been a bit wobbly. The recent OS update did fix some of the problems. Overall, I expect it to pan out but until then it's gonna be REALLY REALLY frustrating cause the lag basically doesn't let me move nodes at a decent frame rate.

I'll keep an eye out for possible solutions. heh
