Whats with the lag??

I just purchased the professional version. Im using it on a macbook pro OSX 10.9.2 , 16GB RAM SSD 2.2 GHZ i7 AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
I use everything on this computer with no problems. Cinema 4D , Adobe master suite, Protools, Ableton and more. But Filter forge I open and try to make a new filter and Photoshop CC becomes unresponsive and I have to force quit.

This is in the first 1 hour of owning this software. When I try to load a filter onto a photo some are ok but others take forever.

Are there some settings Im missing?

This is the laggiest piece of software I have ever owned. I paid 110 bucks and I expect it to work like every other software I own.

You should contact support instead. It's direct. This is a forum where we just come here to chit chat about FilterForge and have general discussions about it. Sometimes it can fix problems, but in many cases, just getting direct support is better. We're mostly just users with limited knowledge of what exactly goes on with the product.

GMM, it would help to mention how to contact support.

Also, questioning the truthfulness of basic things a customer asserts (such as that something is slow) is a big fat tall unhelpful brick wall to getting them help. Laaaame.
