I'm used to using the standalone on the PC and having the filters load directly into the program. On the Mac, since I have Photoshop on the Mac side only, I decided to use as a plug-in, but the filters download outside of Photoshop. Is this regular? If not, what do I need to do? If it is, how do load the filters, one at a time, or is there a place in the plugin folder where I can put the ffcmds to access them.

Thanks,
Cris

A friend, who uses FF, suggested that I open and download to the standalone (folder was in my plugin folder for PS, but I could access the standalone from there). It did not, as was expected, load any filters directly from the online library to the standalone. However, I was able to select all the ffcmds I had downloaded with shift-select and open with FF. Now at least they are accessible from standalone and plugin.

Chris, try putting the filtera in the '/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge/My Filters' directory.

Ah, thank you, GMM. So far it's working well, though sometimes it doesn't like if you start to edit a filter and then decide to cancel. I did, also, check on downloading directly to the standalone, and it, too, is not getting the filters opened directly in FF. Right now, it seems that the filters will only download outside and then must be loaded (though, I'm going to try your suggestion).

Is there a reason why they won't open in the program as they do with my stand-alone on the PC?

Sounds interesting — could you please report it in detail.

Are you using Safari? If yes, please try Firefox until the Safari issue gets fixed.
