The title "Filter Forge appears in my Photoshop CS3 filters menu, with another Filter Forge title to the right of that title, but there are no filters listed and there's no Filter Forge plugin in my Photoshop plugins folder.

I'm able to download filters into Filter Forge.

When I installed Filter Forge, I wasn't given an option to install a plugin into Photoshop. The location options were: installing on the Mac or onto one of my external drives.

Also, when I try to download single filters from the Filter Forge Web site, I can see the Photoshop CS3 icon and name as a location to download the filter into, but when I click on the Photoshop name or icon, a popup menu appears, so I can choose a location in Photoshop, but when I navigate to the Photoshop plugins or filters folder, the Okay button is grayed.

Also, I can't install the plugin into Photoshop even when Photoshop is closed.

Please uninstall Filter Forge, redownload the latest version from http://filterforge.com/download/ and reinstall (with Photoshop closed).

Thanks, GMM.

Before I read your advice, I made some headway by following the instructions in another thread. I coped the Filter Forge 2 folder into the Photoshop plugins folder, and removed the Filter Forge 2 ppc.plugin plugin from that copied folder when Photoshop was closed.

When I reopened Photoshop, and scrolled to Filter > Filter Forge > Filter Forge 2, a window popped up that said, "Could not complete the Filter Forge 2 command because there is not enough memory 'RAM' ". smile:( smile:?: smile:cry:

I read in another thread that the solution to Photoshop's "not enough RAM" to run Filter Forge is to download the latest version of Filter Forge.

However, I _AM_ already using the latest version. I just started using the program yesterday, when I downloaded and installed version 2.009, so I don't see how downloading it and installing it again would solve the problem.

I have three gigs of RAM in my Intel Core Duo late 2006 Imac.

Now I'm not getting the "not enough RAM" message when I scroll in Photoshop to Filters > Filter Forge > Filter Forge 2, but then a window pops up asking me if I want to buy the program or continue with the free trial.

When i press the button to continue with the free trial, Filter Forge (which I had just closed) reopens, so I'm not able to run Filter Forge from Photoshop.
