the Update hell ...

Using FF is becoming a bit of a hell for me...

Every time there is a new update it is getting worse..
When i click a filter here onsite.. "open in FF" i get FF not installed..
When i update FF it stays the same ..same error...
New installed updates are not working or are not placed in the right folder or something like that..


So i traced the last version and updated ... sniff ...
NOW FF wont work anymore in PS cs5 ext .. it just dies ..
I can only use the stand alone.. but still new filters wont install because i " dont " have the latest version ...

NOW help me please.. HOW do i Remove and install the last full version of FF but with ALL filters i have in tact ..
Im on a MAC SnowL ..
and please give me a play by play because im doing something wrong...
So a FF installing for dummies is needed here ...

must be me i guess..

EDIT ..this is the latest error i get :

Could not complete the Filter Forge 2 command
because of a problem with the filter module interface.

I try'd to ad a ERROR LOG but it has to may characters so that wont work here..

Thnx i already went a bit to far and deleted all my filters
I now even deleted photoshop and try it from scratch ..
and yes begin august is about when this shit started .. so that data will be right..

I sure hope now "when im done reinstalling all " this bugger is over ...

Okay with FF 3 now on my mac .. the finding of the filter freak show goes on ..

I got a call from some body who helped me.. seemed that i have hidden files ..that even with admin rights wont show..
But he fixed it for me..

So i can now link ff2 filters to ff3..
