I have been trying to download filters from 3.0 and invariably it will crash FF 3.0. When I try and edit a filter, I have to save with almost any change I make because changing parameters of any kind, inputting numbers, moving sliders, is crashing FF. It's been very difficult to get through a session without continual crash.
I am on a MacBook Pro, with 4 gb ram, Nvidia 9600 M GT, 256 vram running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

What filters do you download? Do you use the plugin or the standalone version?
Please provide the full bug report or the exact error message.

Filter Forge 3 failed to load filter Van Gogh Flow and subsequently freezes whenever I attempt to do anything in the application. Additionally, often it immediately quits as soon as I attempt to open it. I have reinstalled the application and done all the things one normally does when an application has problems.
I'm using a MacBook Pro with Lion, version 10.7.2; 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor; 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM; 500GB HD.

I would have to think which filters. I was using the trial at the time and it has since expired and so I no longer have access to what I had downloaded. I was trying a variety of filters, trying to create new ones. If I can remember, I will return with a list. It was very problematic to run from a filter editing standpoint in general.

Hutch, unfortunately the Van Gogh filter is known to crash on Macs. Please try another filter or use a Windows system if you've got one.
