Hi ~ I'm wondering if there is any way to create and add some new folders to my library of downloaded filters, or is there any way to re-organize (move) the filters I have into different folders?
Thanks for any help offered... ![]() |

If you have version 4 or better, you're in luck:

Well, after perusing around this here forum a bit, I've discovered that I wasn't the first one (by far) to have this idea (of creating my own sorting folders) !!
![]() ![]() So, Xirja, I followed your link to the FF Filter Manager Help page, the news there sounds fine! However, it doesn't seem to say how one creates a new folder in the Favorites section. I've searched all around, tried different hot keys, etc., on the folders, but no luck... ![]() Please disclose how to make and name a new folder ? ![]() ![]() |

Did you try to right click on 'Custom Filters' (ctrl+click on mac with 1 button mouse)? There should be a menu where 'Add Storage Folder' is an option. From there it's the same method to create sub folders, except the command in the menu will be just 'New Folder'.

I'm on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.10 (Yosemite). Yes, I have tried Control–clicking on that folder and all others.. No pop-up menu of any kind.
Thanks for your interest in helping! |

I thought that was the way on mac, oops, you're right it doesn't work. If you don't have a two button mouse, the only way I can suggest then is to quit FF and add folders manually by going to /Users/YourName/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 6/My Filters and adding folders there. I would however recommend getting a two button mouse though, it makes many programs easier to work with.

I found it! I Just now discovered that a two-finger click on a MacBook Pro = a right click. Usually a Control-click is the same as a right-click and that's what I had been trying.
