I actually took for granted filter forge worked for affinity under mac since it works under windows and paid for an upgrade with lifetime updates without giving it a second thought, only to find out affinity is not officially supported under mac, only photoshop.
I read many blame affinity, but its obious the problem here is with filter forge looking at the big difference in supported apps between mac and windows.
With AI i guess things are about to change but after what ive experienced here now as a mac user having paid for something that is usable i guess but barely working many times, ill rather give my money to the competitor over filter forge next time because i want some good filters on my mac.

Well ive been sitting a bit more with this now, its not usable at all, trying to launch filterforge from affinity photo is impossible most times. I can import whole images (for tweaking a little bit with colors etc) but the whole point with filter forge is its ability to apply effects to layers etc and create graphics. Its what lifts affinity photo up to be something that can replace photoshop for that use.
I have an apple silicon (m2 pro chip), not sure if that has anything to do with it, since macs upgraded their whole processor line a few years back. But this is the platform serious artists, designers etc tend to use and if anyone coughs up money for software, that would be my group.
Im seriously thinking about asking for a refund now since this ruined it for me. What are you thinking, completely ignoring mac affinity users, filterforge?
