Having just upgraded to the final release of FF today I thought some of the filters were rendering a bit slow. I ran Activity Monitor and although all cores are running when I render, they're all running at 50%!

Any ideas?

Do you have the 'Use a single CPU/core' option set in Tools > Options > Rendering options?

thanks for getting back to me.

No, I have 'Use all CPUs / cores' active. The Max Ram is set to 60% but with 6GB, that should be fine.

Attached is a post of Activity Monitor going from nothing to rendering. There is a small 100% spike as things get going but then everything settles down to 50% - very confusing?

The developers say this is a known performance issue and they'll look into it.

Thanks, that would be great - it should half the time taken to render complex filters!
