I have no idea why, because it has told me (over 2 dozen times now) that it's upgraded successfully, but when I open FF, I'm still seeing 1.016. This is frustrating, because I was going to submit a new filter to the library today, and of course I can't.
I've tried restarting my computer, downloading a fresh copy of the FF installer (six times, now.) I've downloaded it twice directly from the website, twice from within the stand alone and twice from inside the plug-in in Photoshop.
I've tried stripping all the FF files out of my system, which results in the upgrade (which has taken mere seconds, since the first time) installing a new folder that has everything except the actual program itself in it. And it doesn't install the Plug-In at all.
I've tried taking all the FF prefs out of my prefs, which means that 1.016 opens with what appears to be factory presets; but it's still 1.016.
I've tried doing these thing sequentially, and all at once.
Nothing I've tried makes it actually upgrade to 1.017.
I'm all out of things to try.
Anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks!

Umm.. never mind. Apparently what it needed was to submit this forum post. Because I tried it again, and it worked!
(I didn't change anything else, so I have no idea why it did, that time. But hey, as long as it's working, right?)
