Filter Forge - Won't accept username OR password

cowgirl Deb T Posts: 7	Tried to contact filter forge & neither my username or password were 'recognized.' I know I am using the correct email address - I have emails in my gmail from FF that I saved when I purchased it in Jan 2010. I'm on a Mac - FF was consistently crashing after Snow Leopard was installed. But today, I tried to download FF files online & firefox began to open up tons & tons of filter forge windows! They scrolled on & on for almost 5 minutes. After that, Firefox will no longer open for me. Now, no record of me exists at FF at all. AAACK! Help, please. So weird & a bit scary. (I might add that I loved FF at first & wanna use it so BAD!) What should I do now? Thanks for your help! When Adventure Calls, Say Yes.

Totte Ãœbernerd Posts: 1460 Filters: 107	It sounds to me like old versions of both FilterForge and/or FireFox, I've been using FF on SnowLeopard since I got FilterForge. The only FF crashes I've still got are those after posting a filter. If FilterForge opens new Windows, it usually means it has been multiply launched, which is only possible if (a) Firefox explicit does that behind the back of Finder, or the plist is corrupted allowing multiple launches. It sounds like you would need a "repair permissions" and "repair disk" on you SnowLEopard machine. Are you running FilterForge standalone or under PS? I've read here some seems to have problems with SnowLeopard, PS and FF. // Totte - proud mac user and developer since 87 - I never expected the Spanish inquisition
