Another thing that worked recently, but doesn't anymore!

Since several filters suddenly stopped working as PS CS5 plugins (yes, I have a thread on that already), I tried using them via the stand alone method. I would swear up and down that I was able to open a psd file via the stand alone last week.

Now I get this error message from FF:
Unknown bitmap storage format in file 'file location & name here'(0 was expected).

So, this was pain. I changed the file to a jpg and it worked ok.

I also tried opening as a dng. That opens, but through processing turned a 2848x4288px file into a 256x170px file.

What on earth has happened?

I'm on a Mac OS10.6.5 and I have updated both PS and FF to the most recent versions.

Thanks, Totte.

I am also encountering an apparent file size limitation for jpgs. Does anyone know what this is before I try a dozen iterations?

Better yet, how can I get back the version of FF where everything worked from PS?

Filter Forge Basic and Standard are limited to 3000x3000 images. The trial version and the Pro edition don't have this limitation.

Thanks. I think my FF just got corrupted because I have the Pro version.
