I can't use the filter editor - it just crashes the app in Lion.

I too have multiple crashes in the filter editor in stand alone mode OS 10.6. It seems that if certain sliders of components are changed or text in name field, a crash will occur. Disconnect the Result component and the crashes stop. Make the connection to the Result component the last edit, and you should be good, for the mean time.

I'm using Photoshop CS5 64-bit and CS6 64-bit beta - I'm an official beta tester so it's later than the one that leaked.
I'll try the result toggle - thanks |

Do you have CS5, 5.1 or 5.5?
Please send the full error message and the automatic error report if any. Also, don't expect support for CS6 until it is commercially available. |

CS5.1 - they're both the same I think, at least from a feature standpoint.

In fact, I'm trying to add a "Set Alpha" component to a filter now, and every time I try to set the color in "Source" it crashes.
Every. Single. Time. ![]() |

b15fliptop, thank you very much. We've reproduced the Set Alpha issue.

Just an FYI - I've got the same SetAlpha crash in standalone with FF 3.006 on OS X 10.6.8.

We've released a hotfix without incrementing the program version that should eliminate the issue (as well as another issue with naming controls). Please redownload and reinstall from our download page if you experience this crash.

great - seems not to crash but now I've found a weird bug where the sliders disappear. See video:

Thanks cgbeige! That's what I call a good feedback from users — a video is worth more than a thousand words
