Totte are you an aussie? smile:) yep like the song and yes it would fit nicely LOL smile:D and Peter Garret what a hypocrite and one of the biggest sellout in history smile:evil:

Hey Craig your right it does need more orange and I have been working on the smoke side of the filter, trying to get upward billowing effect that relates to the flames, a little tricky to get working properly. I'll send the filter to you if you want to have a look smile;)

Thanks Betis smile:)

You should shift the red values up just a tad bit so the image itself looks a lot reddish. smile;) Very nice though.

Are you using Linear Dodge to blend the flames into the scenery? If not, that technically may help with the glows a bit.

Been playing a little more with bombers and polygon objects.

These two look best rendered as PNGs, and then dropped as overlays onto an image, but I made them JPEGS to be able to show them here

That was just awesome. I was inspired to do something like that myself... so here's one result I came up with. It's so abstract, you can't tell what the actual image looks like. smile;) Fun smile:D

if you could make those colors 'bleed' a little more, skybase, you'd have a pretty good watercolor filter.

This is called Stix. Basically it paints the picture with horizontal, vertical, and diagonal sticks. It looks somewhat like cross hatching but it isn't really. You can change the size of the sticks, the variation, and background color. Unfortunately I only have 2 days left in the FF2 beta trial so who knows when it'll get released smile:(

daligiger,

did you apply for a product key from FF? the beta doesnt really expire once you have the product key and it's free, at least while the beta test is still going on.

i like your 'stix' smile:)

The stix are cool looking DaliGiger...
Just as Craig said contact FF and apply for the key....Remember also that during the beta, filters made with version2 of FF cannot be submitted to the library...

The new hdr pipeline allows to create accurate normals which can be used in custom shaders. This one is an attempt to create internal reflections in a two pass shading process (and no this is not a surface filter).

@Carl: I do I do, I understood your comments instantly. Your filter is much more detailed so I understand just how many offsets you are using to build you items.

Hey craig, Skybase and Cf the new components make it relatively easy to build some great stuff smile;) ............... Craig I'll send over the filter for you to scrutinize, it's overly complex because of all the offset and I haven't cleaned it up but you should be able to see how things have been done smile:)
