Note: Title does not exactly represent the problem.
I have a filter with a loop happening in it. This loop has a noise distortion in it. Where every time I drag a scale component into the chain the program crashes. I've attached a video that shows what happens. I'm currently on MacOSX 10.8.3. Steps: 1. In the provided filter, find the area within the loop that has a noise distortion component and add. 2. Introduce a scale component in between the noise distortion and add components. 3. Crash! (Note this happens anyway I throw in the scale component, but it doesn't happen anywhere else.) Video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/83...-Crash.mp4 Let me know if that link isn't working for you guys! Rainbow.ffxml |

The video is not working but it might just be a quicktime thing....Is this a render manager bug
.....There is also a scale in a loop that I posted here at the end of the thread..

I have seen the video and it does not happen the same to me.
I have tried to make this in my filter forge and nothing happens, I add a scale component in between the two and there is no crash for me, and so perhaps this happens only on the MacOS side. And as a proof here below is the same filter WITH the scale added in between, you can try to download it and see it it works for you. Rainbow with Scale.ffxml |

Djekki, is this something new and NOT the "output 0 to Scale and get a crash" issue?
UPD: this is really something new, that's a bug point for Skybase. |
