Is it planned to extend the curves so they support high dynamic range?
(Maybe something with user set ranges on both X and Y axis?)

I thought about this, but so far the decision is to leave them LDR. Perhaps we will add this in future versions, but there's no plan to do this in v2.0, as it's on low priority.
