As we know, the x and y coordinates should be in range 0-1. I tried this.
Create a new filter, add script map component and ins ert error(x) or ...(y) after get_sample() as first entry. After starting the filter a negative value for x or y is shown. What's that? |

Far as I can tell, this has something to do with ensuring that the edge of the image is fully drawn. If you were to start the image exactly at 0, any interpolations that would call for edge pixels might end up calling for pixels outside the bounds and create an artifact (line) at the seamless tiling edge if it wasn't done this way. Some such reason, I believe.

Many thanks for your answer.
I will do some experiments, perhaps I will find a work around for my problem I have to solve. ![]() |
