As I beginner filter forge user, I tried to create a filter for skin retouch.
I thought It would be great to have such map script component / scrippet that simulates color range.

For example;

- Source Image
- Color Input
- Range Slider

Masked results.

I strongly believe it would be useful to have such map-script snippet for photography related filters.

When only a few basic components are involved, using built-in components if usually faster than a script.

You should achieve something similar to this by blending the source image and the color in Difference mode and using a curve adjustment to adjust the masked result range and smoothness. The problem is that the RGB channels are handled separately, so you'd have to combine them in a weighed manner into a single grayscale image.

Extracting HSL channels for color range selection is likely a better approach.
