Of course we will try to make UF as newbie-friendly as possible. However, the direction we took when creating Ultraforge is different from that of Filter Forge.
Filter Forge tries to simplify things a lot, and hides a lot of stuff under the hood. On one hand, this makes it easy and fun to learn. On the other hand, this decision has severely limited it as a product. In Ultraforge, we decided against oversimplifying things and introducing too much hidden magic in favor of power, clarity and flexibility.
