If Filter Forge abandoned all support for 32-bit in future releases and went 64-bit exclusively, how would you react? Would you miss 32-bit support?

It would be really good and great. And would be able to use What I do not understand is what you mean about loosing support for 32bit? What users are still using 32 bits?

What problems may it bring converting to 64 bit?

Both windows and Mac have OS that is already 64 bit, and i think there will be only a few users that still use a 32 bit computer

I have 3 different computers, but none of them is 64-bit. I would clearly not.... "enjoy" the lack of 32-bit support

Both of my computers are 64-bit so I have no problem here.

I got a 64bit Windows machine I use at the office and the Macs at home are 64bit as well. Aka not a problem.

In almost all cases I do not believe that old technology should hinder new advancements. If there is something in 32-bit holding FF back, I say that newer versions should let go of 32-bit support. There will still be five 32-bit compatible versions for people to use.

Yes, is true, I agree with what have said Betis, and although there will be persons that for whatever reason they do not have 64 bit (like Ramlyn) or can´t afford it it may be a more percentage of FF user that use already 64 bit and regretably technology and software must go on.

I am not against anyone using a 32 bit, I fell sorry for all the ones that may not be able to use or upgrade to a 64 bit computer, but as said Betis software can not depend on these if they are a minority

Well, it is clearly up to FF.
Anyway I don't think to be the only one who doesn't have a 64-bit computer. 32-bit computers are still normally on sale, so it should be considered.

That was the Cocoa rewrite under Mac OS X, but it's almost done.

I would not mind as long as it can interact with 32-bit Photoshop. I have both versions of Photoshop installed, but only use the 32-bit version because I have legacy 8bf files that only work that version.
