I have a laptop with 2 graphics cards: HD Intel and NVIDIA. The UF test shows:
"Windows version: 10 or higher – Passed. Vulkan version: 1.3 – Passed. Free disk space: 617,6 GB – Passed. VRAM: 8,0 GB – Generative AI nodes may not always work. 8 GB is recommended. Ultraforge will run on this machine, but its generative AI features may not work or may be limited because the requirements aren’t fully met. Device 0: Intel® UHD Graphics Device 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU Device 2: Microsoft Basic Render Drive" My laptop has 32GB RAM and 8GB VRAM. Why does the check calculate these values? "VRAM: 8,0 GB – Generative AI nodes may not always work. 8 GB is recommended." O.K., then I give more RAM for the graphics card via the BIOS. But I couldn't find these settings in the BIOS anymore. On my old laptop I was able to reserve RAM for the HD graphics card. There is no longer. A UF test with the "KITTY" results in a brown spot. In the diaper control panel APP assigned to high performance = NVIDIA. Test shows a brown spot. Next attempt via the NVIDIA control panel 3d everything is set to "NVIDIA only". Some programs displayed prevented the switch, I closed them in the taskbar. A UF test with the "KITTY" results in a brown spot. (I'll tell you more later that switching is prevented when the battery is running with a weak battery.) Now I wanted to go hard and enable “NVIDIA only” in the BIOS. “KITTY” appeared in IF-Test. Now I no longer work with the BIOS, but with the NVIDIA control and a full battery or mains connection. I'm excited about the UF full version and am fully expecting to spice up the generated images with filter functions. |

steini, the devs are looking into the issue with Ultraforge failing to sel ect the correct video card, and they'd love to get more feedback fr om users who have this issue and were able to fix it manually. Could you please contact support sending three things: - your system specs; - the .UFO file that you are trying to render; - a screenshot of the brown spot that you get when Ultraforge is picking a wrong video device. |
