Is it possible to limit the range on sliders to things like 8 to 32 or 21 to 74 ect, because I find some controls I'd like to add work beautifully within a certain range but stink outside the range.
![]() If the question already been asked or the answer is obvious - xcusy ........... Carl |

Use Remapping (where you set the minimum and maximum values) on the sliders in the FF editor. (?)
...But I could have sworn you've already used that in your filters before (so I may not understand your question). P.S. Yep, you used what I'm talking about in your Abstraction Painter Pop Art filter with the high pass's "Outline Thickness". (So sorry if this was uninformative.) |

Edit: I just read your recent edit. No problem. I'll keep what wrote I earlier below just for the fun of it.
![]() Actually, it is possible to make the range go from 5 to 20. I'll try to explain it... In your Pop Art filter you have the Use Remapping check-box checked for the control slider that goes into the radius input of the High Pass filter... If you then click on that tiny white box in front of the input that displays "15.8", there are two parameters to adjust -- minimum and maximum. If you adjust the minimum to 5 and maximum to 20, then that is the range the control slider will adjust between. (And BTW, if the minimum is set to 20 and the maximum to 5, then the slider will work in reverse order.) |

Sorry, Carl, I think I've probably already won the coveted Stupid Question of the Year Award at FF with some of my posts...
![]() lol = laugh out loud (Hmmm, I don't see a laughing smiley on this forum... Another way to laugh is to use "XD" The "X" are squinting eyes and the "D" is a mouth.) BTW = by the way I often have to look up abbreviations using a google search. Here's one page I found: Wikipedia internet slang list |
