I have purchased 3.0 + 4.0 upgrade for double of today's price.
Now I'm trying to install 4.0 but my key is not working. I have sent 3 messages to the support this week, and they didn't even answer. What should I do at this point? |

likely the team was on vacation. i recently sent a message via the contact email and i got a reply, so there is someone there now and GMM is on the forums.
for your key, make sure you are entering a 0 (zero) and not an O (oh) and any other possible similarities. a 1 (one) can look like an l (el) and so on. there are others sometimes, depending on which font gets used, so look the key over very carefully. sorry, i dont mean to be condescending or anything here, but that is the most common reason why keys "dont work". If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Monday 31 - New Years eve, Tuesday 1 - New Year You have posted this thread on Friday afternoon so there will be no answer until monday 6 So as Kraellin have said, they may have a deserved holiday vacation and is not that they do not want to answer Have you been careful to copy the text with a carefull selection without any empty space? I tell you this because when activating FF 3.0 I had this problem, and it was that I was adding an space at the end |

My key doesn't contain 1 or 0, and I'm copy-pasting carefully. Actually my first message was before christmas. I'll continue to wait patiently.. |

The license key comes in two parts, one is the license name and the other is the license key code
Are you entering right the license name also? It must be exactly the same as it was given with the license key code I think that is not that they do not want to answer, is that it is the holidays festive days since christmas so I think that the best thing is to way until next monday 6 or tuesday 7 Also, have your trial expired and you can´t use the Filter Forge software unless you enter the key? Because the trial does not have any limitation. |

I'm sure that my license name is correct too.
My trial has expired and I'm stuck atm. I'm suspicious of my key is only for 3.0 and they did not process it for 4.0. Is it possible? |

What message are you getting when you try to use the license key and it does not work?
Yes, it may be possible, Could you see the email where you got the licence key and licence name and see if there is put for which version is it? I think is put in the email Also see the DATE where the email that you got that licence name and license key, because then you could know if you have a FF 4.0 key or not, as the email must be dated in December 2013 or end of November. Could it be that you are using the FF 4.0 key that was for the beta version? Because this key is not working because it was the FF 4.0 beta key and this have expired. |

Ok, I got the problem. My key is only for 3.0.
I've purchased it on october and did not install 4.0 beta. I haven't used it since last month. When I needed filter forge again, I've uninstalled 3.0 (because I have also paid for 4.0) and installed 4.0 instead. It didn't accept my key, but I continued to use. Last two weeks, I contacted the support but got no answer. Now my trial period is over and my key is still not working. Shouldn't they send me the new key if it won't work with 4.0 ? Or wouldn't they give me a second key for 4.0 when I've purchased the upgrade too? They didn't mail my key, I've saved a copy of my purchase page including my key. I don't know how many people working there but stopping support and going on vacation for two weeks is not a great idea for a company. Yesterday was a business day btw, and the day before. Thanks for helping me |

Are you totally sure that the Filter Forge team have not sent you an email with the license and license key for you upgrade of FF4.0 ?
I mean that maybe they have sent it, but for some una own reason you have not seen it yet. While waiting for customer support you could try to search again in your previous december emails to be sure that you do not have received any New license for FF 4.0
The FF 3,0 key will never work on 4.0.
They need to send you the key as you do not have it, and if they did not send you already the first key, there is no second key to request If you have searched in yor email and are sure you do not have it, I would send Today another email to customer support with your purchase proof of FF 4.0 and request a New key |

I'm pointing out that purchase page didn't contain an another key. Also I have contacted them in october for another reason and got an answer via the same email address. So I have no problem with receiving mails from them. All I need is a reply, I'm sure they will check this forums too. The support team has been around as I got my FF 4 code on Jan 2 and they are usually pretty good about getting back to people. I know they use another company that handles the orders for them so maybe some kind of mix up happened during the transfer of information. Hopefully it will all get sorted out for you soon.

I have not had any problems with the customer support, as they have answered in 1 day or 2 days as much, and I do not think that they do not want to answer.
