I have FF v4
There are compatible filters on the website, however, I CAN'T OPEN or DOWNLOAD THEM. I get a message saying that I "need a newer version of FF" WHY???? If I have 4, I should be able to access and download ALL filters from v4 and prior! |

Open Filter Forge then download the filters....You can also use the built-in library browser to access filters that way........Just re-installed version 4 and tried it....

Check your version of FF4 with the version above...I think that was the final number of that version....

I have 4.009.
I just tried uninstalling and re-installing... which did NOT work! |

Grab the latest version of FF4 from the link above then try it again.....The filters for FF4 may have been made with 4.016 and that is why you are getting the message....

Well, that worked... kinda.
Even though I made a back-up copy of all of my filters. They don't show up, even when I paste them back into the folders of the new install. |

If you think you have to upgrade to a newer higher number is not, I mean that you do not need to pay for a newer version, it is what CFandM has told, the latest version is 4.16 and you have 4.09 so you must upgrade to 4.16 to be allowed to use downloaded filters Usually if you are asked that question, you can say Yes, and it will normally download the required version and install it for you If you reinstall version 4.09 again it will not work |
