I have Filter Forge 11 on my Mac using Sequoia 15.6. Images import upside down or sideways and the filters are very glitchy and don't apply at all properly. Is there no fix from Filter Forge? It is totally unusable in this condition.

You can find the last updated versions HERE

Are you using it as a stand alone app or as a plug-in for a graphics app?.
If a plug-in which graphics app are you using?.
Is it a specific filter that you are using or is it just in general?

I know at one point apple updated their OS and destroyed that way it operates with others apps.
It no longer played nice and described what you are seeing. I do not remember what version of FF
was at that point. It has been a while since that so maybe someone can chime in.......

Thank you for responding.
I am using it as a plug- in for the latest version of Photoshop.
It is not related to a specific filter, it’s a problem in general.
Really sux if I can’t use it anymore except on an old system.

Try using it as a stand-alone app and see if the same glitches are present. You can use older versions of FF with newer versions of PS but at some point it does get
glitchy.....

Audra, welcome to the forums!

Filter Forge 11 had been released in 2021 and was discontinued in 2022. It is unaware of later MacOs versions.

Meanwhile, in fall 2023 with the release of MacOs Sonoma, Apple unexpectedly reversed the pixel coordinate grid provided by the OS API. Rendering all software that places objects at specific screen areas unusable.

Long story short: You can use FF11 with OSX 10.12 to 13.0, or upgrade to the latest FF14 that does support Sonoma and Sequoia.
