Filter Forge Animator doesn't support FF15 filters?

I noticed that Filter Forge Animator doesn't import filters with a major version of 15 (library filter of custom filter).
Filters made with FF versions lower than 15 do work.

The error message when importing just one FF 15 filter is:
"<class XFW::Exception> Object <class XFW::IO::File>@000000000015E9F8 was not released before destruction."
I have tried it with different filters with major version 15.

Questions:
1. Can anybody confirm this behavior?
2. Is this intentional; does Filter Forge Animator need to be updated with every new Filter Forge version to work together?
3. Will there be an update for Animator (or Filter Forge 15) so that Animator can support filters created with the current version (version 15)?
