I noticed that Filter Forge Animator doesn't import filters with a major version of 15 (library filter or custom filter).
Filters made with FF versions lower than 15 do work. The error message when importing just one FF 15 filter is: "<class XFW::Exception> Object <class XFW::IO::File>@000000000015E9F8 was not released before destruction." I have tried it with different filters with major version 15. Questions: 1. Can anybody confirm this behavior? 2. Is this intentional; does Filter Forge Animator need to be updated with every new Filter Forge version to work together? 3. Will there be an update for Animator (or Filter Forge 15) so that Animator can support filters created with the current version (version 15)? |

FFCreator, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Indeed Animator needs to be updated every time we update Filter Forge. We had built an update that supports filters from FF15 but accidentally replaced the new version with an older one that doesn't Anyway, the issue should be now resolved. Please redownload and reinstall Animator from the download page. Sorry for the mix-up! |
