what is this?? no backwards compatibility? sounds like a downgrade to me! how utterly disappointing! so this means i will have to have two different versions of FF installed to use all available filters? can someone please explain the logic in this? |

Of course v1 filters will be compatible with v2, but v2 filters won't be compatible with v1, naturally.

Sorry about that.....I think that I'm still a little confused on the V1/V2 compatability issue.....so maybe someone at FF can clarify it???

What is this, you ask? This is unofficial information, to say the least  Just be careful when interpreting what peoplez say on teh internets
V2 will be backward-compatible -- it will open and render any filter made with V1. That's official. |

Will V2 also be able to edit V1 filters.....and be re-submitted as V2 filters.....also allowing authors to move their V1 texture filters under the protection of the proposed new EULA??? Steve
